Can persons with physical illness or handicapped perform community service?

Ans：

In principle, persons suffering from tuberculosis, AIDS, acute hepatitis, other certifiable diseases or people who cannot take care of themselves are not allowed to perform community service. The prosecutor will review the case and make a decision. Submission of a medical examination for the prosecutor’s review is preferred.

(答：原則上如有罹患結核病、愛滋病、急性肝炎或其他法定傳染病者或以不能自理生活者，不能執行社會勞動。因此如患有疾病或殘障者，由檢察官視個案狀況認定之。最好能提出體檢表，以供檢察官審核。)
